Patients at the Hegau Jugendwerk
receive medical attention from licensed physicians from the specialized areas of
neurology, psychiatry, neuropediatrics, neurosurgery, anesthesiology and
intensive care medicine. All are experienced in rehabilitative medicine.
Physicians from other areas, in particular, orthopedic medicine, surgery,
urology, ophthalmology and ears, nose and throat (ENT) medicine are available
for consultation at all times.
In addition to
providing our patients with specialized medical supervision, neuropsychological
therapy, psychotherapeutic counseling and a variety of medical therapies, a
range of special offerings are available:

Hand function training:
Function-oriented, repetitive exercises that are the most effective, according
to most recent research results

examinations and treatment of swallowing disorders (in- and out-patient
