Before a patient is admitted to the Hegau Jugendwerk, we require confirmation from the patient's health insurance provider that the costs of care will be covered for the duration of the patient's stay. Alternatively, we require advance payment covering 10 days of in-patient fees. The fees vary according to the level of care (as provided in the three different units described above). The daily fee covers the costs for medical treatment, all diagnostic examinations, meals and accommodations. The daily fees for care in the early rehabilitation unit and for rooming-in also include costs for meals and accommodations for one accompanying person. The date of admission will then be arranged. Admission to some units may involve a short waiting period (about one to three weeks).
